Ha My Beach was relatively unknown until 2017 when the British Telegraph placed it in a list of Asia's 16 most beautiful beaches. Before Ha My gained its fame, most visited because, unlike other beaches around Hoi An city, Ha My beach was very quiet and oftentimes and infrequently visited. Thankfully, albeit its recent popularity, foot traffic is still relatively low and the beach retains its peaceful and uncrowded feel. This gives it a leg up from other beaches in the area that are usually flooded with tourists. Along with its quiet location, Ha My beach has numerous amenities, beautiful white sand, and deep blue waves. After sitting in the sun for a few hours, everyone needs a comfortable room to retreat to; luckily, Ha My’s location has that covered as well. Surrounding the beach are many hotels, motels, and homestays; the most luxurious being the 5-star hotel, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai. Many of the hotels serve their own food but if you would like to eat around the beach instead, don't worry, there are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance that offer great cocktails and fresh seafood. After enjoying a nice day of relaxing in the sun, if one wants to go out and explore, the ancient Hoi An city is only a 15-minute drive away. Hoi An is bustling with tourists and offers a wide range of activities such as nightclubs, museums, shopping centers, other landmarks, and so much more!
