Colony Cove Beach

Located on the north shore of the island of St. Croix, Colony Cove Beach is a beautiful crescent-shaped beach approximately 200 meters long.

The beach has many amenities including lounge chairs, umbrellas, restrooms, showers, and picnic tables. There are no lifeguards on duty, so visitors are advised to be careful when swimming.

The sand here is soft and golden in color, and the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

There is a large parking lot at Colony Cove Beach, and parking is free. It is also easily accessible by public transportation.

Fun fact: Colony Cove Beach is a popular spot for sea turtle nesting, and visitors may have the opportunity to witness this incredible natural phenomenon.

There are several nearby attractions to enjoy, such as the Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve, which is just a short drive away. Visitors can also take a hike through the lush tropical rainforest at the nearby Buck Island National Wildlife Refuge.
