Red Wharf Bay, located on the eastern coast of the Isle of Anglesey, is a large sandy bay that often sits at very low tide. Although the water level used to always reach the small town nearby, the tide is fallen lower and lower leaving some docked boats sitting on the sand. For those looking to sail, the water level does rise for small portions of each day, but if you time your launch incorrectly, you would have to bring your boat down the slipway and drive along the sand to launch it into the water. Nonetheless, Red Wharf Bay has a few small restaurants to have a nice meal overlooking the cove, so visitors will still be able to experience its views even if they do not want to trek to the water's edge.
