Located on the coast of North Devon, Putsborough Beach in southwest England - also known as Putsborough Sands - is a two-mile-long and wide beige sand privately owned beach with many rocky portions. The beach is positioned on the southern end of the famous Woolacombe Beach, which lies at the mouth of the valley of Mortehoe along the shores of Bristol Channel. The Baggy Point Headlands shield the beach from southwesterly winds. The beach has a beautiful background of rugged cliffs, coastal vegetation, and many oceanfront buildings, which together provide incredible views of Lundy Island and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
