The largest of Newquay's golden beaches, Tolcarne is nestled between Great Western Beach on the west and Lusty Glaze on the east. You can access Tolcarne from Great Western Beach or by walking down the steps near the cliff. Once you're down at the beach, enjoy fishing, boogie boarding, and sandcastle building. Additionally, want-to-be surfers can take lessons from the surfing school. Beach officials clean the area each day, so the sand and accompanying facilities are always in perfect condition. Finally, this beach has great restaurants (most notably the Venus Cafe) and luxurious European hotels overlooking it.
