Mablethorpe Beach is near the Lincolnshire Wolds – a range of hills that were designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Mablethorpe Beach is the premier beach of Mablethorpe’s 12,000 residents and the rest of the East Lindsey district as it’s a Blue Flag beach, meaning it follows high environmental and quality standards. The beach is a popular destination for families because parents can rent lounges and relax on the beach as lifeguards watch over their children collecting seashells by the water. The beach is clean and composed of soft sand perfect for building sandcastles. After enjoying some time at the beach, families can walk over to the nearby Mablethorpe Fairground Funfair for classic amusement park festivities including bumper cars, roller coaster rides, and fish and chips. If the Funfair is not on the schedule but you still need somewhere to eat, hop on over to the Coral Cafe, which serves breakfast, smoothies, and 13 different varieties of the award-winning Brymor scooped ice cream. After enjoying time at the beach, visitors can spend the night at Trussville Holiday Village and continue to enjoy the beach or explore the other things Mablethorpe has to offer such as Queens Park.
