Located in a coastal flood plain named Cuckmere Haven, Cuckmere Haven Beach – also called Cuckmere Beach – is a large and popular pebble beach in the English county of East Sussex. This beach is located near the town of Seaford. This beach is part of a national park named South Downs National Park and the area near the beach is managed by a charitable organization known as the National Trust.
The eastern part of Cuckmere Haven Beach is much bigger than the western part. The Cuckmere River flows through Cuckmere Haven Beach – once this river passes the beach, it flows into the English Channel.
Conde Nast Traveller listed this beach as one of the best beaches near London. In addition, a bathroom and shower supplies company named “Showers To You” listed this beach as one of the top 10 dog friendly beaches in the United Kingdom.
