This Swedish beach is known for its giant jetty. It was built in 1895 for steamships roaming the big lake in the middle of Sweden. The ships were removed in the middle of 1950 but the jetty was kept alive. It was renovated in 1992 and all of the planks used in the construction are owned by different people who have also signed every single plank. The beach is so shallow you could walk 250 meters and still only be belly-deep in the water.
