Kalkudah Beach is somewhat of a hidden treasure, having been forgotten and left behind after the civil war and the 2004 tsunami. Many ruins and remnants of old houses remain in the area today. Other than this, the beach itself is beautiful with pristine white sand that extends for miles and miles.
