La Ampolla

Located in the city and historic Mediterranean port of Alicante, Playa de La Ampolla is a long, wide, and beige-colored sand beach that is situated in a protected rocky cove.  Also known as Playa de La Ampolla Beach and La Ampolla Beach, Playa de La Ampolla has been awarded the Blue Flag designation due to its cleanliness.  Playa de La Ampolla is surrounded by mountains and runs along a pedestrian promenade featuring a few small souvenir shops.  Playa de La Ampolla is a family-friendly beach with calm waters because it is on the north side of a breakwater.
