Negrete

Located in the city of Altea, Playa de Negrete is a small and narrow pebble beach that is situated in a protected rocky cove.  Also known as Playa de Negrete Beach, Playa de Negrete has been awarded the Blue Flag designation due to its cleanliness.  Playa de Negrete is surrounded by mountains and runs along a pedestrian promenade featuring a few small souvenir shops.  Playa de Negrete is a family-friendly beach with calm waters because it is on the north side of a breakwater.

Getting to Playa de Negrete is very easy – there is a free parking lot at N-332, 135, 03590 Altea and after parking, you will need to walk two minutes south to get to the beach.
