Overview
Located below oceanfront bluffs near the town of Ribadeo, Praia da Pasada – also called Playa da Pasada, Playa de A Pasada, Praia de As Pasadas, and A Pasada Beach – is a small north-facing 300 meters-long beach with light brown sand and some large rocks. This beach is located in the municipality of Lugo within the region of Galicia. Praia Da Pasada is a part of a larger beach area named Playas de Barreiros.

Getting to Praia Da Pasada is easy – from a national highway named N-634, you need to turn towards another road named LU-P-0603. From this road, you need to turn left towards another road named LU-P-0610. You will come across Praia Da Pasada just as you turn left towards LU-P-0610 – there are free street parking spaces near the beach, along with a small free parking lot. Once you park here, you can walk down to the beach from the bluff top area above through a stairway.

Attractions
There are many attractions near Praia Da Pasada within a 25-minute-drive. Ria de Foz is an estuary that is a popular bird watching site and it is home to many kinds of seasonal and migratory birds. In addition, this estuary is also a popular site for many watersports including kitesurfing, windsurfing, boating, and surfing. Playa de Las Catedrales is an extremely popular beach that has a wide variety of interesting geological formations including rock arches, cliffs, and sea caves. This beach offers a variety of activities including swimming, wildlife watching, rockhounding, and beachcombing. Lighthouse Illa Plancha is a scenic lighthouse that dates back to the late 19th century – the lighthouse’s premises also have a small beautiful maintenance building and it offers amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean and the northern Galician shoreline. Plaza de Espana – also called Praza de Espana – is a public square in the town of Ribadeo that has many beautiful historic buildings around it, along with a beautiful garden with many kinds of trees and flowering plants – this plaza also has a few statues dedicated to the poet Dionisio Gramallo Fierros and Viejo Pancho, and it also hosts many fun events including markets, fairs, and festivals. If you are looking for another attraction near the beach, Morenos Tower in Ribadeo is a historic tower with Indiano-style and Modernist architectural influences – this beautiful house was built in the 1920s and it offers a unique insight into local history.

Restaurante A Ribeira has a homely ambiance and is known for serving excellent dishes including seafood, meat dishes, paellas, Galician-style empanadas, and desserts. Yenka also offers amazing Galician-style dishes including local seafood, croquetas, salads, and raxo a la gallega. Le Bistrot Solarena offers a variety of great dishes including steaks, seafood, pork ribs, asador de carne, burgers, and pizzas. A Xoina Pizzeria is 20 minutes away by car and serves excellent pizzas, and also offers pasta, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and Latin American dishes.
