Playa De La Casuca

Located in the city of Santander on Spain’s north coast, Playa de la Casuca is a very small, wide, and beige-colored beach that is among the most famous beaches in Santander.  Also known as Playa de la Casuca Beach, Playa de la Casuca has been awarded the Blue Flag designation due to its cleanliness.  Playa de la Casuca is a well-known destination for the celebrations on the night of San Juan Festival which features a very crowded night party held on the beach every June 23^rd.

Playa de la Casuca welcomes dogs on leash and offers many amenities including lifeguards, restrooms, showers, water sport equipment rentals, handicap accessible stairways, and a promenade with cafés, souvenir shops, and restaurants.

There are many fun activities at Playa de la Casuca including swimming, surfing, fishing, biking, bicycling, sunbathing, and beach walking.

Getting to Playa de la Casuca is very easy – the beach’s free parking lot is located at Av. Playa San Juan de la Canal, 42B, 39110 Santa Cruz de Bezana, Cantabria and provides easy access to the beach.
