Overview
Located near the village of Sant Josep de sa Talaia on the southeastern coast of Ibiza, Torre de Carregador - is a historic tower with a small, rocky beach. The beach bears the name of the 15th-century watchtower, Torre des Carregador - also known as Torre de Sa Sal Rossa, that makes up its beautiful backdrop. This 13-meter-high watchtower was built to watch over the landings where ships were loaded with valuable salt at Ses Salines Natural Park. The beach is positioned on the grounds of the parish of Sant Francesc de s'Estany, near the southern end of the famous Playa d’en Bossa, which together provides incredible views of the Mediterranean Coast and nearby Formentera Island.
