Overview
Located in the town of Muro, Playa de Muro – also called Playa de Muro Beach, Platja de Muro, and Muro Beach – is a popular six-kilometers-long curve-shaped beach with white sand, multiple piers, and a nearby breakwater. This beach is composed of four smaller beaches – these beaches are known as Sector 1, Sector 2, Es Comu (which is also known as Sector 3), and Ses Casetes des Capellans (which is also known as Sector 4 and Es Capellans). Sector 1 is the northernmost part of this beach, while Ses Casetes des Capellans is the beach’s southernmost part. The beach and the area around it host many fun events including a religious festival named Fiestas Des Capellans and a fair named Fira Nocturna.
