Punta De Sa Galera

Located in the small town of Sant Antoni de Portmany, Playa de Sa Galera is a long, wide, and white sand beach situated on the southwestern shore of the Spanish island of Ibiza.  Also known as Playa de Sa Galera Beach, Playa de Sa Galera is surrounded by cliffs and a pine forest.

Playa de Sa Galera Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness, and offers many amenities including a lifeguard, campsite, restrooms, showers, boat rentals, water sport equipment rentals, and handicap accessible stairways.

There are many fun activities at Playa de Sa Galera including swimming, scuba diving, boating, fishing, jet-skiing, camping, sunbathing, and beach walking.  If you are looking for additional activities, the beach also features catamaran excursions with glass-floored catamarans so that you can view the seabed.  Visitors can go on a six-hour long tour to Ibicenca Coast during which you can snorkel or swim in the sea as well.  The beach also has a short trail that starts from its eastern end, meanders through the pine forest, and leads to rock arches offering great views of the island of Illa Conillera.

Getting to Playa de Sa Galera is very easy – the beach’s free parking lot is located at Camí Cala Salada, 07820 Sant Antoni de Portmany and provides easy access to the beach.
