Windmill Beach

There is limited parking available near Windmill Beach, but visitors can park along the road for free. However, the road leading to the beach is quite steep, so it may be difficult for larger vehicles to navigate.

Fun fact: Windmill Beach is named after the windmill located near the beach, which was used to pump water up to the nearby military barracks.

Nearby attractions include Boulders Beach, which is known for its colony of African Penguins, and the Simon's Town Museum, which explores the area's maritime history. There are also several hiking trails nearby, including the Cape of Good Hope Trail.
