Sardinia Bay Beach is usually not crowded and has plenty of parking in a large adjacent lot and on nearby streets. There are portable bathrooms next to the parking lot, but the beach is not within walking distance of retail shops and other amenities so be sure to plan ahead. On some weekends there is a food truck in the parking lot that offers snacks and ice cream. Once you arrive, the only way to access the beach is to walk over a short but steep sand dune.
With long stretches of golden sand, this beach is perfect for walks and horseback rides. There are also sand dunes that are fun to explore, climb, and sandboard. The waters at Sardinia Bay Beach have strong rip currents and are not recommended for swimming, but the large waves are great for surfing and kitesurfing. Sardinia Bay Beach provides amazing golden hour photo opportunities during its beautiful sunsets.
