Playa Chacocente

Playa Chacocente is a secluded beach located in Santa Teresa (Municipio), Nicaragua. The beach stretches over 4 kilometers and has beautiful golden sand.

Playa Chacocente has few amenities, so plan your trip accordingly, although it does have bathroom access and shade structures

Visitors can enjoy swimming, surfing, sunbathing, and bird watching at this beach.

There is no official parking lot available at Playa Chacocente. Visitors can park their vehicles on the side of the road and walk to the beach.

Fun fact: Playa Chacocente is a protected nesting site for Olive Ridley sea turtles, and visitors can witness the turtles nesting and hatching during the nesting season from August to December.
