Herathera Island

There is no parking available on Herathera Island as the beach can only be accessed by boat or seaplane. Visitors can park their vehicles at the Gan International Airport, which is just a short boat ride away from the island.

Fun fact about Herathera Island is that it used to be a British airbase during World War II, and some remnants of the war can still be found on the island. Additionally, Addu City is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives, consisting of six inhabited islands and 11 uninhabited islands.
