Filitheyo Island

There are three restaurants available on Filitheyo Island, namely the Main Restaurant, Sunset Restaurant, and Filitheyo Bar. Guests can enjoy a variety of international and Maldivian cuisine, as well as a selection of refreshing beverages.

Filitheyo Island Resort is the only resort on the island, and it offers luxurious villas and bungalows with private access to the beach. The resort also features a swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa.

However, there are no lifeguards on duty, and dogs are not allowed on the beach..

Filitheyo Island has many amenities including sun loungers, umbrellas, shower facilities, changing rooms, and bathroom access.

There is no parking lot available on the island since it is only accessible by seaplane. Guests can take a seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport, and the resort team will arrange for a transfer to the island.

Fun fact about Filitheyo Island is that it is located on the eastern rim of North Nilandhe Atoll, one of the most spectacular atolls in the Maldives. The island is also surrounded by a beautiful coral reef, which makes it an excellent spot for snorkeling and diving.

Filitheyo Island offers a range of activities including snorkeling, diving, canoeing, windsurfing, and fishing. Nearby attractions include the iconic Hanifaru Bay, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, which is a great spot for manta ray and whale shark sightings. Another popular destination is the beautiful sandbank of Rasmaadhoo, which is only a short boat ride away.
