Sapi Island

There are no hotels on Sapi Island, but visitors can stay in nearby Kota Kinabalu and take a day trip to the island. Some recommended hotels in Kota Kinabalu include the Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort & Spa, the Hilton Kota Kinabalu, and the Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu.

Sapi Island also has a few amenities, including bathroom access, but there are no lifeguards on duty, dogs are not allowed on the beach, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks.

There are plenty of activities available at the beach, including snorkeling, diving, jet skiing, and parasailing.

There is a parking lot available at the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal, which is where visitors can catch a boat to Sapi Island. The parking lot is paid and costs around 10 Malaysian Ringgit per day.

Fun fact about Sapi Island, it is one of five islands that make up the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, which was established in 1974 as Malaysia's first marine national park.
