Located near the San Diego Bay, Coronado Beach - also known as Central Beach and Coronado Central Beach - is a large and flat beach with light brown sand and sparse vegetation. Coronado Beach starts near the historic Hotel del Coronado and spans north along Ocean Boulevard all the way north to a park named Sunset Park. This popular beach is one of the main beaches of the resort-city of Coronado (which is also nicknamed as "Crown City"). Located on Caladesi Island near the city of Clearwater, Caladesi Island State Park Beach – also called Caladesi Island Beach and Caladesi Beach – is a large three-miles-long beach with white sand. This beach is a part of a state park named Caladesi Island State Park. This beach was listed as one of the 21 best beaches in Florida by Conde Nast Traveller magazine and it was also listed as one of the “15 Most Secret Beaches In The South” by Southern Living magazine.

Located in the island of Hawai'i (popularly known as Big Island), Hapuna Beach - also known as Hapuna Beach Park and Hāpuna Beach - is a large and popular half-mile-long beach with light brown sand nearby and dense forests. Hapuna Beach is situated along a portion of the Hawaiian coastline named "Kohala'' after the nearby Kohala Mountain. This beach is a part of a state park named Hāpuna Beach State Recreation Area. A rocky promontory is also present near the beach - this promontory is named Ihumoku. The beach and the nearby bay (named Hāpuna Bay) are named after Leina-Hāpuna, who was an ancient Hawaiian noble. This beach changes its size depending on the season - during summers Hapuna Beach can become very wide (reaching up to 200 feet in width), while in winters, Hapuna Beach can see a massive size reduction. The beach gets its name from an old and white Coast Guard building which is present on the bluffs above the beach. The white-colored sand in Coast Guard Beach is formed from quartz – this quartz comes from ancient cliffs that were present near the Cape Cod shoreline thousands of years ago. Over time these cliffs eroded and the quartz deposits from these cliffs were eventually turned into white-sand grains, which in turn were then deposited along the Cape Cod shoreline by streams from the Atlantic Ocean. Located in the eastern part of Waikiki, Duke Kahanamoku Beach – also known as Kahanamoku Beach, Duke’s Beach, and Duke Paoa Kahanamoku Beach Park – is a wide beach with light brown sand, multiple nearby breakwaters, a nearby reef, and a pier named the Hilton Pier. Duke Kahanamoku Beach is at the western end of a larger beach area named Waikiki Beach – Duke Kahanamoku Beach is also one of Waikiki Beach’s widest portions. Located in the northern part of the Kauai shoreline, Tunnels Beach – also called Makua Beach – is a popular half-mile-long beach with coarse golden coral sand.
