Top White Sand Beaches in Venezuela
If you’re looking for one of the most secluded beaches in Venezuela, look no further than Playa Caribe. The nearest town to Playa Caribe is Chuspa, a small town about a 2.5-hour drive away from the capital city of Caracas. To arrive at Playa Caribe, visitors need to take a short 10-minute boat ride.
Once you get there, you’ll be greeted by some of the cleanest beaches in the world and a paradise that only exists in James Bond movies. Locals will welcome you with awnings, chairs, and tables, along with umbrellas for rent. You can also find fried fish and shrimp with tostones (fried plantains) at the food kiosks nearby. Except for summer weekends, Playa Caribe has relatively sparse crowds.
Our best tip to you: make sure you book a time for a boat to come back and pick you up, otherwise you might be spending more time at Playa Caribe than you may have intended to.
