Best Surfing Beaches in San Simeon

Located to the north of the Hearst Castle, Arroyo Laguna Beach is a popular beach with light brown sand and pebbles. The beach is a part of a state park known as the Hearst San Simeon State Park. A vibrant meadow is present near this windy beach. Oak Knoll Creek (also known as Arroyo Laguna) flows through the beach into the Pacific Ocean. 

Located in the city of San Simeon, San Carpoforo Creek Beach is a small, wide, and remote beach situated at the point where San Carpoforo Creek meets the North Pacific Ocean. San Carpoforo Creek Beach is a part of Los Padres National Forest and Hearst San Simeon State Park.  San Carpoforo Creek Beach is situated on the north side of the historic Piedras Blancas Light Station and Ragged Point Beach.  San Carpoforo Creek Beach is a well-known place for beachcombing and beach exploration during low tides. 

Located in the city of San Simeon, Little Pico Creek Beach Access leads to a very long, narrow, and rocky beach that is a part of a very huge park named Hearst San Simeon State Park.  Little Pico Creek Beach Access is situated at the point where Little Pico Creek meets the North Pacific Ocean.
