Located in the community of Nokomis, Nokomis Beach - also known as Nokomis Public Beach and Nokomis Beach Park - is a large beach with soft white sand. This beach is situated on an island named Casey Key, and coastal vegetation is present near this beach. A pavilion named the Nokomis Beach Pavilion is also present near this beach - this pavilion was designed by architect Jack West in 1954 and is considered to be one of the oldest beach pavilions in the United States.
