Although there are many beaches named like it, no beach matches the beauty and splendor of Crescent City's Pebble Beach. Starting at the south end of the beach, there is a fishing access and picnic area near the historical Brother Jonathan Memorial Park. On the north side of the beach, there are gorgeous hiking trails along the bluff and plenty of parking; eventually the road ends at Point Saint George, where an impressive lighthouse resides. Offshore is a wildlife-viewing hotspot, known as Castle Rock National Wildlife Refuge, where many bird species and sea lions are admired. Forgetting your camera on this beach trip would be a tragedy - don't be one to leave it at home!
