Located in the city of Coral Gables, Matheson Hammock Park is a 630-acre recreational park that has an unnamed white-sand beach with palm trees. This beach is also known as Matheson Hammock Park Beach and Matheson Beach. This circular beach is present along the shores of an artificial atoll pool, which is naturally replenished by water from the nearby Biscayne Bay.
Matheson Hammock Park has a vibrant landscape which has many habitats including mangrove forests, swamps, grassy fields, and hardwood hammock forests - you can explore the park’s landscape via hiking and biking trails.
