Meads Bay is home to some of the most lavish beachfront hotels and delicious, five-star restaurants in the world, offering beachgoers a wide range of accommodations, activities, and lasting memories. With sand so white and sea so blue, you'll think it's photoshopped -- come experience the bay's sheer perfection with a rum punch in hand and a tan that sticks.

Carimar Beach Club is a beachfront hotel that offers its guests complimentary bikes, snorkel gear, BBQ's, and more throughout their stay. The views from each room's balcony will pull you to the beach's shore as the staff tends to your every need. Just beyond the beach club is Blanchards, an upscale restaurant with seafood that is to die for. Turtle's Nest is another amazing vacation destination, showcasing incredible beachfront condos that are fully-furnished, air-conditioned, and extremely spacious; Turtle's Nest boasts panoramic ocean views, yet a homey kitchen area, giving guests an upscale "home away from home" experience. The Four Seasons Anguilla is a bit more posh, with an enormous property and sophisticated villas.

The plethora of nearby restaurants and hotels is not the only thing that gives Meads Bay its lively atmosphere -- the famous Anguilla's Carnival is about a two-week long celebration at the beginning of August that includes just about everything you could think of. The opening night kicks off with fireworks and musical performances; the next day, it's on to numerous pageant and performance competitions among primary schoolers in the area; next up is a battle of the bands- esque competition; finally, the week ends with the first boat race of the carnival on Sunday. Next on the agenda is August Monday, the biggest beach party of the entire celebration, which ends in the August Monday Boat Race. The week leading up to the final "Champion of Champions" race on the final Sunday includes food trucks, live music, the Miss Anguilla Queens Pageant, the big Parade of Troupes, and finally, the boat race. If this crazy carnival isn't telling of Meads Bay's upbeat atmosphere, we don't know what is. Enjoy your stay at one of the most riveting beaches in the world!
