If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants near Arvanitia Beach.  Stavlos Taverna has an elegant and cozy decor and it is known for serving a variety of outstanding Greek-style barbecued dishes.  Karamalis Tavern serves a variety of amazing and delicious dishes including seafood, soups, barbecued meats, Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, veal, and salads.  Aiolos Tavern (also called Aiolos Taverna) offers a variety of delicious Greek dishes including moussaka, gemista, and Greek-style veal.  If you are looking for another good and affordable restaurant near Arvanitia Beach, Nafplio Falafel serves delicious falafels, along with a variety of other snacks including kebabs, samosa, meatballs, and salads.

If you are looking for a hotel near Arvanitia Beach, there are many great nearby options.  The 5-Star Nafplia Palace Hotels & Villas offers many amenities including multiple pools, rental services for yachts and cars, helicopter transport services, and multiple restaurants and bars.  Another upscale hotel is the 4-Star Grand Sarai Nafplio that offers many amenities including a bar, a patio, a common area with board games, and free breakfast.  A more affordable hotel is the 3-Star Agamemnon Hotel that offers complimentary breakfast – this hotel is also located conveniently close to some of the major attractions and restaurants in Nafplio.  If you are looking for another good and affordable hotel near Arvanitia Beach, the 3-Star Park Hotel Nafplio has a bar and a restaurant.

Although Arvanitia Beach does not have lifeguards, the beach and the area around it have many amenities including restrooms, showers, changing rooms, and rental facilities for sunbeds and beach umbrellas.

Arvanitia Beach offers many fun activities including sunbathing, beachcombing, wildlife watching, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating, surf-skiing, jet-skiing, water-skiing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, scuba diving, and parasailing.  Arvanitia Beach is ideal for beginner swimmers, kayakers, canoers, snorkelers, and paddleboarders because the water here is mostly calm and clear.  If you are planning to swim, snorkel, kayak, paddleboard, snorkel, or canoe near Arvanitia Beach, we recommend being careful because the water here can have unpredictable rip currents.  If you are planning to fish near Arvanitia Beach, please follow the local fishing regulations.

If you like shopping, there is a walkway near the northern end of Arvanitia Beach that has many interesting nearby shopping stores –this walkway offers amazing views of the Argolic Gulf and the Nafplio shoreline.  Please note that this walkway may be occasionally closed to the public because of large rocks falling from nearby cliffs.

Getting to Arvanitia Beach is easy – this beach is easily accessible from Nafplio’s city center through an access road.  This road is located near a historic structure named Land Gate and it goes uphill before eventually leading to the free parking lot near Arvanitia Beach.  You can follow the street signs around Nafplio that offer directions to Arvanitia Beach.  Once you park at Arvanitia Beach’s parking lot, you can easily walk to the stairs leading to the beach.  We recommend visiting this beach early because this beach can get crowded quickly.

There are many attractions near Arvanitia Beach.  Palamidi is a fortress that was built by the Venetian rulers of the Peloponnese region in the early 18th century – this fort has a chapel and a former prison.  Nafplio Lighthouse is a small metal lighthouse – the area around this lighthouse is a popular fishing site and it offers amazing views of the Nafplio shoreline.  Akronafplia (also called Acronauplia) is a fortified ancient waterfront settlement that was originally built during the Bronze Age – this fort offers a unique insight into Nafplio’s history and it also offers amazing views of the city of Nafplio and the Argolic Gulf.  There is also a cactus garden in this fort.  If you are looking for another attraction near Arvanitia Beach, the War Museum of Nafplio offers interesting exhibits on the military history of Greece.
