Located on the west coast of Lefkada, near the village of Agios Nikitas, Milos Beach - also known as Nikitas Beach or Paralia Agios Ioannis - is a one-and-a-half-kilometer-long beige sand beach with many rocky formations. This immensely popular beach is positioned on the shores of the Ionian Sea and has a spectacular background of rugged hills with wildflowers, olive forest, coastal vegetation, ancient windmills, and a few oceanfront buildings, including two beachfront cafes, a resort, and a few hotels, adding allure to its beauty. Milos Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag certification for its natural beauty, cleanliness, and water quality standards.
