Agios Ioannis Peristeron Beach is a serene and picturesque destination located on the southeast coast of Corfu, approximately 16 to 19 kilometers from Corfu Town. This long beach stretches almost 2.5 kilometers and features a combination of sand and small pebbles, along with several secluded coves. The area is surrounded by lush green vegetation, creating a tranquil atmosphere away from bustling resorts. The beach offers crystal-clear, aquamarine waters that are ideal for swimming and various water activities like parasailing and scuba diving. It is partially organized with sunbeds and umbrellas available for hire on one side. The beach is suitable for families but may not be ideal for very small children due to its depth in some areas.
Visitors can enjoy traditional Greek and Corfiot cuisine at the nearby tavernas, which are right on the beach. These establishments offer a perfect setting to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset.
The beach is easily accessible by car or municipal transport, with convenient parking available.
