Located within the coastal town of Neos Marmaras on the northwestern coast of the Sithonia peninsula in Greece, North Marmaras Beach - also known as N.Marmaras Beach - is a long and wide beige sand beach. The beach is adjacent to the luxurious Porto Carras Grand Resort and is positioned in a sheltered inlet along the Toroneos Gulf. North Marmaras Beach has a beautiful backdrop of many oceanfront buildings, restaurants, bars, hotels, shops, and a large playground, which together provide incredible views of the vast ocean and the uninhabited island of Kelyfos. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag certification due to its cleanliness and water quality standards.

In addition, one of the most notable aspects of the cave is a human skull, popularly known as the “Petralona Skull,” which is believed to be about 700,000 years old, making it one of the oldest human remains in Europe. Stone Forest in Greece is a unique natural wonder, consisting of layers of rock formations resembling trees at an altitude of 1,500 meters, formed by the erosion of limestones in an alpine environment. Koukos Canyon Trail is a dog-friendly, two-mile-long, moderately challenging hiking trail that meanders through a steep and rocky Koukos Hill where hikers can explore the remains of prehistoric city walls that surround a settlement and that offer incredible views of village Sykia.
