Located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the Province of Puntarenas Quepos in the city of Manuel Antonio, Playa Manuel Antonio is a long and wide white sand beach that is one of the most popular and most-visited beaches in Costa Rica. The beach is part of Manuel Antonio National Park, which is home to lush rainforests, beaches, rocky islands, hiking trails, tropical forests, and a diversity of wildlife. The beach is positioned on the southern side of an isthmus, which is a natural land bridge formed by sand accumulations within the national park and has a beautiful backdrop of lush green vegetation, which together offer incredible views of the vast Pacific Ocean.

Getting to Playa Manuel Antonio is easy - the beach has a large parking lot located near Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio, 20 metros de la entrada del, Provincia de Puntarenas, Quepos, 60601, Costa Rica. After parking, visitors have to hike on the Park Trail for 18 minutes northeast to access the beach. Visitors must pay $18.08 per person as an admission fee to access the park.
