Located on the southern end of Tiny Township in Simcoe County, Cove Beach is a long white sand beach.  The beach is tucked between Lafontaine Beach and Sand Castle Beach and has a beautiful background of a few oceanfront buildings along the eastern shore of Georgian Bay, which together provide incredible views.

Cove Beach does not have lifeguards or any other amenities except a few benches.

Cove Beach offers many fun activities, including swimming, sunbathing, fishing, picnicking, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, and hiking.  If you are planning to go into the water, the waves are usually calm.  The water near the beach is shallow, which is ideal for canoes, kayaks, and small boats.  If you enjoy fishing on this beach, visitors have to obtain fishing permits.   Hikers can enjoy the nearby hiking trails, which offer unique insights into the local biodiversity.  Cove Beach is ideal for visitors seeking a more tranquil experience, as it sees fewer visitors than other nearby beaches.  Dogs are not allowed here, and the beach is open from sunrise until sunset.

Getting to Cove Beach is easy - the beach has a few street parking spots located at 1588 Tiny Beaches Road North, Penetanguishene, and provides easy access to the beach.  It is important to note that visitors must have aparking permit and are required to park their vehicles here.

There are many attractions near Cove Beach.  Georgian Bay Park is a bayfront park spread over 200 acres and offers many amenities, including campsites, RV sites,a pool, picnic areas, picnic tables, walking trails, and a lookout tower.  Rounds Ranch is a family-friendly farm that offers around 25 intriguing activities for all age groups, including a corn maze, pumpkin patch, playgrounds, farm-themed activities, wagon rides, and farm animal petting sessions.  In addition, it also hosts seasonal events and festivals, including Easter egg hunts, Halloween celebrations, and Christmas activities.  Tiny Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area is a protected natural area spread over 1460 acres that is home to mashes, coastal lagoons, and wetlands, making it a unique combination of terrestrial and marine ecosystems.  Visitors can enjoy many fun activities, including hiking, biking, picnicking, bird watching, kayaking, and canoeing. Wasaga Adventure Park is a family-friendly recreational area spread over 70 acres that offers many fun activities, including paintball, airsoft, archery,laser combat, axe throwing, NERF Wars, ziplines, gel blasters, and camping.  If you are looking for another nearby attraction, Simcoe County Museum aims to provide interesting insight into the history, culture, and natural heritage of Simcoe County through exhibits, artifacts, and related memorabilia.

If you get hungry, there are many great restaurants within a fifteen-minute drive of Cove Beach.  Balm Beach Bar & Smokehouse serves sandwiches, burgers, beef, pork, meat, and poultry dishes. The Country Diner serves amazing salads, sandwiches, tacos, burgers, meat, and poultry dishes.  Hanabi Japanese Restaurant serves amazing sushi, soups, salads, tempura, sashimi, noodles, seafood, meat, and poultry dishes.  Elm Desi serves amazing vegetarian curries, meat curries, breads, biryani, tandoori dishes, and desserts.  If you are looking for another good and affordable restaurant nearby, The Friendly Corner serves eggs, salads, sandwiches, burgers, beef, meat, poultry dishes, and desserts.

If you are looking for a hotel near Cove Beach, there are many great options nearby.  If you are looking for an upscale hotel, the 5-Star Shangri-La Toronto is one hour and fifty-eight minutes away by car and offers many amenities including an indoor pool, a spa, hot tubs, a fitness center, and a restaurant.  A more affordable hotel is the 4-Star Christie's Mill Inn and Spa, which has many amenities, including an indoor pool, hot tubs, a spa, tennis courts, a dock, and a restaurant.  Another moderately priced option is the 4-Star The Westin Trillium House, Blue Mountain, which has many amenities including a heated outdoor pool, a spa, hot tubs, a fitness center, and an Italian restaurant.  A more reasonably priced option is the beachfront 3-Star Carriage Ridge Resort, which offers many amenities including an indoor pool, a hot tub, and a fitness center.  If you are looking for another good and affordable nearby hotel, the 3-Star Midland Inn & Suites has a few amenities including complimentary breakfast.
