Second Beach

Second Beach is located in Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada. The beach stretches for approximately 1,000 feet and features golden sand.

Amenities at the beach include washrooms, outdoor showers, and picnic tables. Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be kept on a leash at all times.

There is a large parking lot available at Second Beach, but it is a paid parking lot. There is also limited street parking available in the area.

Fun fact: Second Beach was originally known as "North Beach" until the 1930s when it was renamed to Second Beach to distinguish it from the larger "First Beach" nearby.

In addition to the beach, Stanley Park offers a variety of attractions nearby including the Vancouver Aquarium, the Stanley Park Train, and the Seawall walking and cycling path.
