Starfish Island(Bannister Island)

Located just off the coast of Belize City, Starfish Island is a small, secluded island with a beautiful beach. The beach stretches for approximately 300 meters and boasts soft, white sand and crystal-clear waters.

Amenities at the beach include restroom facilities, lounge chairs, and umbrellas.

Activities available at the beach include swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing.

There is no parking available on the island, as it is only accessible by boat. Visitors can park their cars at a nearby marina and take a boat to the island. Boat parking is available at the island's dock.

Fun fact: Starfish Island gets its name from the numerous starfish that can be found in the waters around the island.

Attractions near the beach include the Belize Barrier Reef, which is only a short boat ride away, and the Belize City Tour, which offers visitors the opportunity to explore the city's rich history and culture.

There is a small restaurant on the island that serves delicious Belizean cuisine, as well as a bar that offers a variety of drinks and cocktails.
