Stocking Island Beach

Stocking Island Beach is located in the southern region of the Bahamas in Christiansted. It stretches for approximately 3 miles and features powdery white sand, crystal clear turquoise waters and lush green vegetation.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The beach has restroom facilities, outdoor showers, and picnic areas available for visitors.

There is no parking lot at Stocking Island Beach, however, visitors can park their vehicles at nearby George Town and take a water taxi to the beach. The water taxi ride to Stocking Island is typically 10-15 minutes long and costs around $20-25 per person.

Fun fact: Stocking Island is known for its annual regatta, a traditional Bahamian sailing competition that takes place every year during the first weekend in March.

Apart from the beautiful beach, visitors can explore the Stocking Island Marine Reserve which offers a variety of marine life such as turtles, dolphins, and colorful fish. Hiking trails are also available for those interested in exploring the island's natural beauty.
