Keijsers Beach

Keijsers Beach is a secluded stretch of sand located in the southernmost part of Wilsons Promontory, Australia. The beach is approximately 800 meters long and boasts pristine white sand that contrasts beautifully with the turquoise waters of the ocean.

The beach also features public restrooms and picnic tables, but there are no lifeguards on duty, and dogs are not allowed on the beach.

Visitors to the beach can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and fishing.

There is a designated parking area at the end of the access road to Keijsers Beach. The parking lot is free of charge, but visitors are advised to arrive early as parking can be limited, especially during peak season.

Fun fact: Keijsers Beach is named after a Dutch ship captain who sailed in the area in the late 1800s.

Visitors to Keijsers Beach can explore the nearby lighthouse, the historic Wilsons Promontory Light Station, which dates back to 1859. The lighthouse is open for tours, and visitors can climb to the top for panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding landscapes.
