Turua Beach

Turua Beach is located in the beautiful Huon Valley region of Tasmania, Australia. The beach is approximately 500 meters long and features soft, golden sand.

There are no lifeguards on duty, and bathroom facilities are not available, so visitors should plan accordingly. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but they must be kept on a leash.

Swimming, fishing, and kayaking are popular activities at the beach.

There is a parking lot available at Turua Beach, and it is free for visitors to use.

Fun fact: Turua Beach is also known as "Cockle Creek Beach" due to its close proximity to the Cockle Creek estuary.

The beach is situated within the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area and provides access to the South Coast Track, which is a 7-day hiking trail that runs through some of Tasmania's most spectacular wilderness areas.

There are no restaurants or cafes located directly on the beach, but there are several options available in nearby towns such as Dover and Southport. Visitors can enjoy a variety of cuisines ranging from seafood to pub-style meals.
