Overview
Located in the northern suburb of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Bungan Beach is a 600-meter-long beige sand beach. The beach is tucked between North Mona Vale Headland Reserve and Bungan Head Reserve along the Bongin Bongin Bay. It has a beautiful backdrop of rocky sandstone cliffs, oceanfront homes, and a few hotels, which together provide incredible views of the vast Pacific Ocean. There is a single bar that stretches the whole length of the beach, with two or three changing rips along the beach and two big rips against the rocks at either end.

Bungan Beach does not have lifeguards but offers several other amenities, including a surf club, a hotel, and nearby bus stop. It is important to note that the beach is patrolled by volunteers of the Bungan Beach Surf Club during the swimming season.
