Middle beach is unusual in its exposed nature. Beaches on Lord Howe's island typically feature calm waters and sparkling yellow sand, but you will find wind and a rocky shoreline galore at this pristine preserve. It is best accessed at low tide, and there is a stairway at each end of the beach. The sun rises in the east, and with this beach situated perfectly facing east, you are in store for an unbelievable watching party. Check out nearby destination "clear place" if you have time.
