Great Bird Island(Desert Island)

As Great Bird Island is uninhabited, there are no restaurants on the island. Visitors are advised to bring their own food and water.

As there are no accommodations on Great Bird Island, visitors who wish to stay overnight can choose from several hotels in Crabbs or nearby Jolly Harbour, such as the Jolly Beach Resort and Spa, which offers all-inclusive packages and beachfront rooms with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.

There are no lifeguards on duty or bathroom facilities on the island, so visitors should plan accordingly.

Visitors to Great Bird Island can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and diving in the crystal-clear waters.

As Great Bird Island is only accessible by boat, there is no designated parking lot for visitors. Visitors can park their cars at the Jolly Harbour Marina and take a boat to the island. The boat ride takes approximately 20 minutes.

Fun fact: Great Bird Island is home to several species of birds, including the West Indian whistling duck, the brown pelican, and the magnificent frigatebird.

One of the main attractions on Great Bird Island is the Great Bird Island Trail, which takes visitors on a scenic hike through the island's tropical forest. The trail also leads to a lookout point with panoramic views of the surrounding waters.
