Ocean Cove Beach(Fort Ross, Fort Ross State Park)

Located in the town of Jenner, Ocean Cove Beach is a private and rocky beach below the privately-owned Ocean Cove Campground. Ocean Cove Beach is situated between Stillwater Cove Regional Park and Salt Point State Park – and is a well-known destination for boating and fishing. 

Ocean Cove Beach welcomes dogs on leash and offers many amenities including restrooms, showers, tide pools, boat launch, a paid campground, and a general store. Please note that the campground is open from April to November and has oceanfront RVs and tent camping sites on a bluff.

There are many fun activities at Ocean Cove Beach including boating, fishing, kayaking, camping, scuba diving, and tide pooling.

Getting to Ocean Cove Beach is very easy – the beach is situated at 23125 Coast Highway and can be accessed through the campground. There is a paid parking lot within walking distance of the beach.

Schulz Museum and Research Center is dedicated to the works of Charles M. Schulz, creator of Peanuts comic strip, and is home to a three-and-a-half-ton sculpture depicting the evolution of Snoopy – a character in the comic, Schulz’s studio, and three rotating galleries. Another great attraction near Ocean Cove Beach is Scandia Family Fun Center, an amusement park with many rides including a pirate ship swing, train ride, merry-go-round swings, horse carousel, go-karts, and bumper cars.
