Pink Beach

Pink Beach, located in Kralendijk, Caribbean Netherlands, is a stunning beach with a length of approximately 300 meters. The sand on the beach is light pink, giving it a unique and beautiful look.

The beach has few amenities, so plan accordingly. However, it does have bathroom access and a few shady areas. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but it is important to keep them on a leash.

Fun fact: The pink color of the sand on Pink Beach comes from the tiny red organisms called foraminifera, which have pink or red shells that are crushed up by the waves and give the sand its unique color.

Apart from its stunning beach and crystal clear waters, Pink Beach is home to some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world, making it a popular spot for snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. The beach is also a nesting ground for sea turtles, and visitors may be able to catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures.
